Multi-Screen Systems - In SkyView 2.6 software and newer, serial port outputs from multi-screen SkyView systems must be connected together. This wiring change must be made at the same time SkyView is upgraded to 2.6 or newer. See this page for a full description of systems this change applies to and wiring instructions.

Dynon's SkyView Electronic Flight Instrumentation System. Skyview units are available with world-wide terrain data and will come standard with North America terrain data loaded. Any other region can be downloaded and installed free of charge from the Dynon website as available. For those customers unable to download this themselves, we are happy to preload any region you want.

WORLDWIDE NAVIGATION DATA: Dynon Avionics and Jeppesen have entered into an agreement to provide Jeppesen NavData® and obstacle services for SkyView. The avionics data offering for Dynon Avionics allows light sport and experimental aircraft pilots anywhere in the world to enjoy Jeppesen navigation data. Included is airport information, runways, navaids, and Com and Nav frequencies. More information about ordering data from Jeppesen is shown here. SV-GPS-270 is required to use Jeppesen data.
SV-MAP-270 GPS NAVIGATION SOFTWARE: This software enhancement to SkyView is available at a one-time cost with a 30 flight hour free trial. It includes the the ability to use GPS navigation, airport, obstacles, navaid, runway, and Com and Nav frequency data. The user interface to find and view data is highly intuitive and easy to use. FAA navigation and obstacle data for flights in the US can be downloaded for free on the Dynon website. Outside the US, navigation and obstacle data can be purchased from Jeppesen.
ENHANCED HSI: With 3.0 the HSI display is larger with improved visibility.
G-METER: The SkyView G-Meter mixes a classic analog display with some digital magic to offer amazing graphics and functionality. Because you don't need navigation while performing aerobatics, the G-Meter is pilot selectable to replace the HSI making it large and easily visible. Magnetic heading always remains visible. Resettable Min/Max G's flank the instantaneous value. The G-Meter can be toggled on and off manually, or it can be set to pop up on user-defined G thresholds.
